An unmissable opportunity has come about within the organisations state of the art R&D facility for a Principal Scientist to join the companies’ unique in house clinical testing facility; Ori-Derm.

Ori-Derm is a team of dedicated scientists who study cosmetic product performance and provide scientific evidence to support all claims made by Oriflame products and ingredients.

The Principal Scientist role reports to the Research Manager in Ori-Derm. Within the research unit, this role consists of delivering innovative applications for in-house instruments and techniques to improve cosmetic product and technology efficacy, and create novel claims in line with the company’s innovation strategy. The role also includes generating scientific evidence to support final product claims by advising, designing and performing studies to Ori-Derm quality standards.

The successful candidate will have significant commercially focused experience within a research facility. You will be educated to PhD level in Biological science, Chemistry, Pharmacology, Cosmetic Science or related field discipline with 3 years working in a similar role or educated to Degree level with 6 years working in a similar role. You will have excellent knowledge of methods of evaluation alongside an in-depth knowledge of clinical development guidelines and directives.
