An exciting opportunity with a well-established family owned cosmetic contract manufacturing business based in Tiverton, Devon. We are looking for an experienced process and development chemist to take responsibility for formulating and giving technical support for the production of a variety of toiletry, skin care and hair care products.
Role:
As a Process & Development Chemist, the candidate will be responsible for:
- Responding to new enquiries and briefs and carry out research into required raw materials
- Formulating and developing cosmetic samples to customer specific briefs
- Reformulating current formulations across a variety of toiletry items
- Providing technical support to the production team
- Carrying out stability and compatibility testing
- Producing all relevant documentation
- Attending customer meetings as a technical point of contact.
Person:
To be considered for this role, candidates will have degree-level relevant scientific qualifications, with proven industrial experience in developing cosmetic products.
