Puckering up to benefit The Prince’s Trust
100% of profits from new TRUST lipstick will go to the charity
The lipstick, which is priced at £8, is being promoted by a host of famous faces including actress Kara Tointon and singer Katy B, and will be sold exclusively on shopping channel QVC from 2 April onwards.
Trust is being produced by Swallowfield. The company's md Ian Mackinnon commented: “This joint venture is extremely exciting and is a credit to our business- one that is continuously looking to develop and invest in new products. The lipstick is a collaboration of brands, artists, celebrities, creative, marketing agencies and businesses, all working together to raise funds for The Prince's Trust. We are thrilled to work with such a fantastic charity and Karen, a talented industry expert, to manufacture such a personal and meaningful product’.
Alder says: “To be able to raise funds for The Prince’s Trust has blown me away – I am so thankful for their support and look forward to finally giving something back.”
Alder herself and various celebrity supporters will be appearing on QVC throughout April to showcase the lipstick and to give viewers expert make-up tips, as well as promoting the work of The Prince’s Trust.
