The Spanish wooden packaging specialist has created packaging solutions for high end brands including LVMH, Rituals and Clarins

Pujolasos, the wooden packaging specialist, is stepping up the quality of its luxury cosmetics packaging with new artificial vision technology.

First launched in 2019, the artificial vision project responds to industry demand for luxury packaging and allows Pujolasos to create products at the highest quality possible, according to the company.

Now, one year on, the Spain-based company has confirmed the successful roll-out of the technology in its beauty packaging production lines, with results “far exceeding” the objective quality parameters expected to better meet the requirements of its clients.

It is currently being used at the company's two plants, which span a total of more than 18,500sqm and cover packaging development, manufacturing, decoration, lacquering and assembly.

The new technology follows the launch of Pujolasos' Woork material, a fusion of wood and cork that is 100% organic and compostable in a bid to meet increasing industry demand for natural and sustainable beauty packaging.
