The colour cosmetics brand is also marking the launch of its Disney Cruella Collection by MAC product line
Keep your Dalmatians on a tight leash if you venture to London’s Carnaby Street this weekend.
To celebrate the release of Disney’s new film Cruella, MAC’s global flagship on the famous UK shopping destination has been transformed to reflect the fashion maven’s signature style.
Shaftesbury, the owner of Carnaby Street, says the installation will include an exterior wrap of the store, while the interior will give shoppers a taste of the live-action feature film, which charts the early days of 101 Dalmatians’ well-dressed villain.
The temporarily revamped store is also in honour of the new Disney Cruella Collection by MAC, which is inspired by the punk and nu wave era of the 70s and 80s, and which includes Matte Lipstick in three colours (Sweet-N-Vicious light pink, De Vil In The Details bright red and Camden Caper blood red), Retro Matte Liquid Lipcolour in Queen of Mean (a brown-pink neutral), Mayhemmed (red) and Glamarchy (blood red) and two Dual-Ended Pro Longwear Eye Liners, as well as an eyeshadow octet, a Powder Blush Duo, lashes, a face brush and an eye brush.
The line is now available via maccosmetics.co.uk and select MAC standalone stores, as well as at Look Fantastic.
Meanwhile, Disney’s Cruella, staring Oscar winner Emma Stone, launches on 28 May in cinemas and on Disney+ with Premier Access for a one-off fee.
