Working with this fast-growing wellness and personal care company, this is a great opportunity to level up your skills and experience in Purchasing. This position is ideal for an individual with a goal-oriented mindset as you fulfil the planning and purchasing of stock within pre-defined lead times and cost constraints.
There is significant scope in this role, as you take ownership of the appropriate management of more than 500 SKU’s, from NPD first order through to discontinuation. With your eye firmly on the ball, you will create and manage purchase orders using demand forecasts as your basis.
Using your excellent communication skills, you will be a key point of contact internally for an allocated list of SKUs, in addition to liaising with suppliers and freight forwarders to ensure all runs smoothly. A self-starter, you can spot potential supply issues and propose solutions.
You have experience in a similar role using Master Requirement Planning (MRP) tools and can effectively utilise Excel daily. The ideal candidate must have outstanding English and communication skills as you deal with overseas vendors and freight forwarders.
You must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar position. You must be educated to degree level or equivalent. Professional training qualification in Supply Chain (e.g., CILT) is an asset.
