Kavita Khosa speaks about sustainable fashion and craft at the digital awards this year


Kavita Khosa, founder of Purearth, a sustainable wild harvest skin care and wellness brand, speaks about sustainable fashion and craft at the digital 2020 Green Carpet Fashion Awards at Milan Fashion Week.

Founded by Livia Firth of the sustainable consulting firm – Eco Age, the venue at the iconic La Scala was transformed with AR, holograms and visual VFX at the first ever digital Green Carpet Awards in history.

Khosa speaks about heritage, legacy and the conservation of traditional textile artistry and craft forms, and fair trade. She talks about sustainability in the context of income and livelihoods for the artisans, and the onus on brands and consumers to bridge the gap between the maker and the consumer by supporting fair trade and making conscious, mindful choices.
