Revlon names new President and CEO

Fabian T. Garcia elected to CEO and President

Revlon’s Board of Directors has elected Fabian T. Garcia as its new President and Chief Executive Officer. Garcia will assume the role on 15 April 2016, also serving as a member of the company’s Board and Revlon’s subsidiary, Revlon Consumer Products Corporation.

Garcia started his career at P&G, progressing from marketing and general management into more senior roles. Most recently he was employed as President of the company’s Max Factor business in Japan and Asia-Pacific.

Garcia has also previously worked for Colgate-Palmolive, leading the company’s businesses in Asia-Pacific, Eurasia, Latin America and Europe. He also lead the company’s Hills Pet Nutrition business. He served as Chief Operating Officer for Global Innovation and Growth, taking responsibility for consumer and customer innovation as well as operational productivity strategies and plans.

Prior to joining Colgate-Palmolive, Garcia worked at The Timberland Company, managing International operations. He has also previously worked at Chanel. Garcia oversaw the brand’s operations in the Asia-Pacific region, and was responsible for Fashion, Fine Jewelry and Watches as well as Fragrance and Beauty.
