John Lewis & Partners has identified seven key beauty trends as part of its 2018 retail report, How We Shop, Live and Look.

Looking at what events have shaped the year, from cultural and environmental, to retail and celebrity, the department store has published its definitive guide to what’s shaped beauty so far this year.

The new season of Love Island hit screens in June and the nation was hooked. Not only did the on/off dramas in the villa between the boys and girls give us the ultimate water cooler moment, the Islanders’ fashion and beauty choices had a significant effect on certain beauty sales.
