While many retailers on the UK high street have struggled with sales over the Christmas period, Selfridges appears to be bucking the trend.

The luxury department store has announced a record-breaking Christmas trading period, with sales surging by 8% across its physical stores and online business in the final week in the lead up to Christmas.
