Senior Development Chemist

Reporting to the Development Manager you will be responsible for the development of new personal care products in line with customer and legislative requirements, including the technical transfer of these products to full scale manufacture.

Applicants should be educated to A level standard with a minimum of 3 years experience in an equivalent position or a HNC / Diploma in Cosmetic Science and a minimum of 2 years experience.

A natural creative flair together with experience of formulating modern, innovative personal care products is essential. Frequent customer and supplier contact will be required, as will be attending relevant seminars to stay up to date with recent technologies and developments in the Personal Care Industry. Attention to detail, a logical approach and excellent organisational, administrative and communication skills are required to succeed in this role.

Hours of work will be 8.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday although some flexibility will be required. Salary is negotiable.
