Japanese beauty giant Shiseido has appointed US Open champion Naomi Osaka as a brand ambassador.

The 21-year-old Japanese-born tennis player climbed the ranks since turning pro in 2013 and is now ranked number five in the world, below Elina Svitolina, Caroline Wozniacki, Angelique Kerber and Romanian number one Simona Halep.
Osaka is the first Japanese winner of the US Open’s women’s title, in which she successfully beat tennis legend Serena Williams.
Today, she is the highest ranked Japanese tennis player in history and finished the season as the tour leader in prize money.
