Shiseido full year figures up 8.9% boosted by prestige beauty

Japanese beauty group Shiseido has announced full year sales of ¥1.09 trillion ($9.9bn), a jump of 8.9% on the previous year.

On a local currency basis, net sales grew 8.8%.

Shiseido has attributed the growth to its prestige portfolio which induces the brands Nars, Bare Minerals and Laura Mercier, as well as Clé de Peau and its eponymous brand, Shiseido.
