Silab fights against glycation

The Deglysome active helps limit cellular and tissue damage

To combat ageing signs, in particular elasticity loss and tissue stiffening as a result of the glycation of dermal proteins, Silab has introduced Deglysome, a double effect active ingredient which it says is capable of limiting the cellular and tissue damage caused by glycation and advanced glycation end products (AGEs).

Rich in sulphated galactans derived from the Hypnea musciformis algae, the active protects the cytoskeleton by maintaining vimentin organisation and preserving synthesis of the extracellular matrix proteins, as well as stimulating the formation of collagen and fibrillin networks. Silab says Deglysome is suitable for all anti-ageing and firming treatments.
