La Bella Figura, the Italian-inspired beauty brand, is closing on 11 November after 12 years of trading.
The D2C indie company is offering a ‘final closeout’ sale to customers before it ceases all international shipping.
Customers are advised to shop now as the brand “can not guarantee supply” in the coming weeks.
The company has not revealed what will happen to its 250sqft bricks-and-mortar beauty apothecary Casa Bella in Chicago, US.
Co-founders Victoria Fantauzzi and Karen King launched ‘clean’ beauty brand La Bella Figura in 2010 with a focus on nature-inspired skin care products.
The duo used modern extraction methods to preserve the efficacy of raw materials and, due to popularity, the range soon expanded to include fragrance, body care and hair.
“It is both a sad and joyous moment writing this, but the time has come for us to say goodbye,” the founders told their customer base in a newsletter on 19 October.
“It was the privilege of our lives to bring this brand and our products to thousands of valued customers, clients and friends across the world.
“We have cried on and off for months now as this day approached… these years have played out like a good film.
“The process of letting go is not always easy.”
Fantauzzi was also the brains behind the popular 2015 US brand-focused shopping event, ‘A Night For Green Beauty’.
Physical events took place in New York, Los Angeles and Chicago and focused on celebrating the brands who create green beauty.

La Bella Figura is one of many beauty brands to announce closures this year.
Lip specialist Bite Beauty revealed it is going out of business after ten years, while Glamglow and Smashbox have both ceased trading in the UK and Ireland.
