Using stoechiol, an ingredient that inhibits muscle contractions, the beauty product will reduce the appearance of fine lines in one hour

Beauty brand Skinny Tan has introduced an alternative to injectables in the form of a tanning serum.

For the new Notox Beauty Elixir (£19.99), the brand has harnessed the power of stoechiol, a natural Botox-like ingredient that inhibits muscle contractions, helping to smooth the appearance of lines and wrinkles.

After ten days of use, Skinny Tan said continuous use of the serum will elevate the skin’s elasticity and that skin will begin to tighten in less than one hour of application.

Butterfly lavender has also been used in the formula to help treat the skin, as well as vitamin E and Skinny Tan’s buildable gradual tan, which is said to adapt to the wearer’s skin tone.

To use, customers should shake well and apply two pumps to the skin after cleansing morning or night.
