Sleever’s sweet tooth

Sleever International has provided the sleeves used to decorate Parfums Cacharel’s new handbag sized Jellies fragrances. The 20ml bottles have been designed to look like candy canes with different coloured spirals for each fragrance: pink for Anaïs Anaïs; caramel for Noa; red for Amor Amor; violet for Amor Amor Tentation; and coral for Scarlett.

Two sleeves made from SI-CPET-KG/050 film and printed using Sleever’s Helioflex process are needed for the Jellies; one for the top of the bottle and one for the body as the spiral visual encapsulates both. According to Sleever, the sleeves must be positioned perfectly around the seal to achieve an optimum result, as they’re applied to the empty bottle before the introduction of the pump.

In addition, the top sleeve is fitted with a tiny flap that guarantees high precision positioning to prevent it from sliding once the bottle is opened. Sleever specially developed a horizontal positioning machine in order to carry out these delicate operations.
