Actress teams up with cosmetics brand to promote eye shadow palettes
Smashbox has teamed up with Pretty Little Liars actress Shay Mitchell for its latest campaign.
The star will appear in a series of seven YouTube clips, created with Smashbox, to demonstrate how to use each of the brand’s latest eye shadow palettes.
Alongside her work as an actress, Mitchell has written her own novel, Bliss, and has a huge following on social media. She currently has more than 14 million followers on Instagram.
Davis Factor, Founder and Photographer at Smashbox, said that Mitchell was “perfect” for the campaign.
He said: “Shay Mitchell, the star of our Cover Shots campaign, is the perfect person to represent these pigment-packed eye palettes. She has a gorgeous, versatile face that can pull off unlimited eye looks, and photographs beautifully in every frame.”
The star was said to have worked with the brand to create the palettes, with each one designed to have its own distinct “personality” and look.
The new range includes seven eye shadow palettes designed to create seven different looks. Each includes six coordinated colours and two base shades. The collection includes: Ablaze, Bold, Golden Hour, Matte, Smoky, Metallic and Softlight (£24 each).
The collection will be available on the Smashbox website as well as in Boots stores and on the Boots website.
