The new beauty tool from the environmentally-friendly company uses vegetable fibres from the konnyaku plant

So Eco, an environmentally-friendly make-up brush brand, has released its first cleansing sponge.

The Konjac Sponge (£6.99) is made using fibres from the native Asian konnyaku plant, which is naturally alkaline and rich in minerals and is said to contribute to balancing the skin’s natural properties.

It is also infused with minerals and antioxidants, designed to exfoliate and cleanse the skin.

Due to the sponge’s format it is 100% biodegradable, supporting the brand’s ethos of eco-focused principles that have a low impact on the environment.

The brand also uses sustainable and biodegradable materials for its packaging.

For best results, So Eco recommends rubbing the sponge on the face in upward, circular motions.

The product is available now for UK customers on lookfantastic.com.
