Deluxe French packaging company Solev has created complex flacons for two of Beaute Prestige International's (BPI) major launches this year – Pleats Please edp from Issey Miyake and the Classique X Collection from Jean Paul Gaultier.

For Pleats Please, Solev combined metallisation with a white finish, high-precision laser cutting, pad printing and overall varnishing to give the bottle a sense of radiance. The bottle was also enhanced with delicate edges and front and back contrasts, while the fragrance name is featured in hyper-glossy red text.

Meanwhile, for Classique X, Solev built on the glass bottle originally created by Pochet du Courval by recreating the black dress through laser cutting on an original non-metallic substrate. To achieve this, the company used a special black varnish that was both compatible with the high-definition requirement of laser decorations, and provided a "textile sensation" and sense of smoothness.
