Sponsored by Bionos Biotech

The Spanish laboratory Bionos Biotech, focused in efficacy and functionality testing for the cosmetic and food-nutraceutical industries, will be present in the next edition of Incosmetics Global, which will take place in Paris during April, 2nd, 3rd and 4th.

The company will be located in the Stand Q116 (Testing Zone) of the Porte de Versailles Pavilion 1, where will meet current clients, new potential ones and will be at full disposal of all those visitors wanting to stop by the stand having a nice time and receiving information related to the R&D (in vitro & in vivo) testing services.

Specifically, the Valencian company will introduce its new innovative technologies and software developed in the last 2 years to assess in vivo efficacy: Bio3D Structured-light Scanner and Bio Blue Light Scanner.

Bio3D Structured-light Scanner is a 3D digitalization system based on structured-light fringe projection (phase shift method), which works at 290 images per second, reducing the effects of movement and getting a higher resolution that current systems in the market.

The 3D information obtained is analyzed with specialized software developed internally to perform different quantifications (wrinkles, eye bags, neck jowls, face remodeling and volume, dark spots under the eye, eyelids assessment, etc).

On the other hand, Bio Blue Light Scanner is an own development with a high-resolution camera and a diffuse and indirect lighting system, emitting at 470 nm. This wavelength has low penetration in the skin, hence the perfect visualization of the skin dark spots.

Additionally, it has been developed a specific software which allows the image analysis and the quantification of the parameter associated with the dark spots.

Since different international clients are already successfully using these technologies to determine the clinical efficacy of several cosmetic treatments, the company seeks to increase its visibility offering its services to more clients during Incosmetics Global in Paris.

“The market response to these new technologies we have developed and implemented for clinical efficacy testing has been wonderful during the second half of 2018. The exhibition in Paris will help us to introduce Bio3D Structured-light Scanner and Bio Blue Light Scanner to other clients who are not related so far to these innovative technologies.

We also hope to see in our client’s stands some pictures obtained with our technologies, meaning our services are helpful for our customers.” – comments the Business Development Manager, David González.

Due to the success obtained at Incosmetics Global Amsterdam and Cosmetorium Barcelona in 2018, the company continues with its politics of international growth, increasing its national and international presence through its attendance to the following events during 2019: Incosmetics Global Paris (April, 2nd - 4th), New York Supplier’s Day (May, 6th – 7th), Milan 25th IFSCC Conference (30th September – 1st October), Cosmetorium Barcelona (October, 23rd – 24th) and Incosmetics Asia Bangkok (November, 5th – 7th).

“The experience with this kind of exhibitions is being really gratifying because we can carry our services to clients worldwide, which otherwise would be very difficult to get in contact with. To participate in these exhibitions is a must for us, due to all the cosmetic and scientific ecosystem that meets every year in the events. Good results of the past year invited us to be present in 5 exhibitions during 2019, instead of 3, with greater stands where we will attend to all those people wanting to get in contact with our innovative R&D technologies for in vitro and in vivo testing.” – concludes David.
