Stronger than expected sales driven by demand in L’Oréal Luxe and Active Cosmetics divisions

French beauty giant L’Oréal has announced stronger than expected Q3 sales boosted by the performance of its L’Oréal Luxe and Active Cosmetics divisions.

Total sales grew 6.8% to €19.8bn on a like-for-like basis, with sales for the L’Oréal Luxe division jumping 14.2% and 11.9% for its Active Cosmetics business. E-commerce was also highlighted for a strong performance over the period, with sales up 38.3%, representing 9.7% of total sales.
