Along with new store openings, the beauty retailer is launching a new piercing service at 53 of its stores

Superdrug is preparing to open a new store in Ipswich, UK on 15 June, which will feature the brand’s Orly Nail Bar and Brow & Lash Bar.

The nail bar will offer manicures and pedicures, starting from £5, and consumers will be able to choose from traditional nail polish or gel treatments without the need to book an appointment.

The opening has created 16 new jobs, and includes the hire of John Hunter as Store Manager.

He said: “We are delighted to confirm that we are opening a new store on Ipswich High Street this June.

“This new space is bigger than our previous store meaning we can offer customers a wider selection of our unique mix of beauty, health and fragrances just in time for summer.”

The brand currently operates over 300 Brow & Lash Bars and 68 Orly Nail Bars, and has recently announced it is launching ear and nose piercings in 53 stores across the UK.

Lisa Matthews, Superdrug Head of Proposition and Services, added: “We’re excited to extend our beauty offering once again to launch our new piercing service.

“We’re now the country’s biggest operator of Nail Bars and more customers than ever before are coming to our stores for great value professional treatments.”
