AS Watson has revealed plans to open a new store near the University of Lincoln in the UK.
The store is due to open later this week in Lincoln St Marks Shopping Centre, close to both the university and the city’s train station. The store joins an existing outlet in Lincoln Waterside Shopping Centre.
The opening has created 14 additional jobs and brings convenient services to the area, with a nail bar and brow bar offering drop-in treatments in store. Consumers can also use Superdrug’s click and collect service to choose from an even wider range of offers online.
Prices at the brow and nail bars start from £5. The store is opening just ahead of the busy Christmas season, with a wide selection of gift sets also available.
Sheryl Bennet, Store Manager at the new Lincoln St Marks Superdrug store, commented: “We’re looking forward to welcoming customers to the new store just in time for Christmas. As well as a wide selection of gifts, cosmetics and essentials, customers can also conveniently get a beauty treatment which is perfect for the party season.”
This latest store opening comes shortly after Superdrug announced two new locations in the UK. The retailer opened stores on London's Clerkenwell Road and in Elliot's Field in Rugby.
