Superdrug has traded up its head office for a new and improved space in the heart of Croydon in South London, UK.
The new 55,000sqft space, designed by Morgan Lovell, spans six floors and is located at 51 Sydenham Road.
Highlights include a 550sqft mock high-street shop, as well as a 10ft laser-cut metal Superdrug logo statue.
Jo Mackie, Superdrug Customer & People Director, said: “The design of the new office reflects every aspect of the Superdrug business with images of colleagues showcased throughout. Our vision is to make beauty and health accessible and that’s what the new environment does for our people both by the design and the services we offer.”
Providing another benefit to members of staff, on-site beauty services are available including a nail and brow bar.
The new office will be home to 500 of the retailer’s staff and was designed as an ‘activity based’ environment, meaning meeting rooms and flexible break-out areas are available and central on each floor.
Similarly, tea points and printers are deliberately placed on the edge of the main working areas in order to encourage workers to take short breaks away from their desks.
The HQ also has a café on the ground floor and a drop-in wellness clinic offering free health checks and appointments.
