Sustainable Beauty Awards winners announced

Winners include L\'Oréal USA – Garnier, Weleda, Laboratories Expanscience, International Flavors & Fragrances and Jasmin Aromatique


The inaugural Sustainable Beauty Awards, which were held at the Paris Marriott Champs-Elysées on 21 October, set out to honour C&T companies that are making a valuable contribution to the sustainable development of the beauty industry.

Over 160 industry executives attended the awards, which were organised by Organic Monitor. There were five categories in total and award winners were selected from three finalists within each category. The winners and runners up were:

Runner up: Apivita

Sustainability Leadership
Winner: Weleda
Runner up: Firmenich

Sustainable Packaging
Winner: Laboratoires Expanscience
Runner up: You Organic Skincare

Sustainable Ingredient
Winner: International Flavors & Fragrances – LMR Rose Water Essential
Runner up: AkzoNobel Surface Chemistry – Recentia serum

Green Formulations
Winner: Jasmin Aromatique
Runner up: Alteya Organics
