The new space at London’s Camden Market will offer in-store services as well as 125 of the brand’s male grooming products

Barber shop and beard care brand Sweyn Forkbeard has opened its first bricks-and-mortar grooming boutique offering in-store services in Camden Market, London, UK.

The 400sqft location will offer services from beard trims to haircuts, as well as a range of 125 grooming products, including items for wet shaving and beard care.

Custom barber chairs and antiques displayed around the space are inspired by the 1900s.

“We are thrilled to be opening our first-ever stand-alone shop in the iconic Camden Market,” said the brand’s founder George Garcia.

“Following continued success with our three product shops in London, two of which are already in Camden, it makes sense for us to extend our presence here with an expanded bricks-and-mortar offering for Londoners.

“After selling barber products within our stores and at barber shows over the last five years, it is a natural step to open a fully-fledged barber shop, enabling us to apply our products directly to Camden Market’s consumers.”

Maggie Milosavljevic, the Retail Commercial Director of Camden Market’s owner, LabTech, added: “Following our evolving offer within Camden Market, this is a great opportunity to be adding Sweyn Forkbeard to our retail portfolio.

“We are pleased to have secured the unique brand’s debut barber shop site, and we are confident the new Sweyn Forkbeard experience will be a hit with our local customer base.”

Sweyn Forkbeard joins more than 900 brands selling at Camden Market.
