The French company's golden brass plates adorn the Italian luxury brand's Donna and Uomo fragrances

TNT Global Manufacturing has topped off the packaging for Italian luxury brand Valentino's latest collection of fragrances with a golden brass plate.

The France-based packaging company used electroplating to create the embossed plates, which it crafted from brass due to the metal's strength and rigidity, preventing deformation while providing a high end finish, according to the company.

Each brass plate also includes four small studs to match the miniature crystal-like prisms that feature on the bottle, which TNT noted presented a technical challenge due to their size and the detail required.

However, TNT was able to come up with an electroplating process to attach the plates, resulting in a luxe finish with no hanging marks, according to the company.

Valentino expanded its fragrance collection in summer 2017 with two new scents: Uomo Acqua, a “fresh and elegant” scent for men with citrus and leather notes, and the women's fragrance Valentino Donna, a floral gourmand with notes of green almond, frosted pear, rice stream, frangipani rose and tonka bean.

It added to the range last winter with the launch of Donna Noir Absolu, featuring notes of black pepper, lascivious rose, plum liquor, sensuous leather and sandalwood, and Uomo Noir Absolu, with notes of sandalwood, cinnamon, pepper and incense.

TNT Global Manufacturing specialises in high quality metal and plastic components for the perfume and cosmetics industry, and has previously developed packaging for brands including Penhaligon's, Creed and Bulgari.
