You are a seasoned Formulation Chemist with at least 5 years of professional experience within the lab, managing projects from concept through to production. Your field of expertise is in personal care ideally including colour cosmetics, skincare, male grooming or even pet care. You have formulated for recognised brands and / or private label.
Joining an ambitious and expanding company who develop and manufacture onsite, you will have full creative freedom to reformulate, expand and develop new colour cosmetics, haircare, skincare and male grooming products.
With your track record in the cosmetics industry, you have a great understanding of the global market, including FDA, CPNP, and INCI list knowledge, and know where to source ingredients around the world, building relationships with suppliers and keeping up to date with latest trends.
In addition to the creative formulation work, you will be responsible for the legislation, safety testing and compliance to meet cosmetic regulations. Using your experience and best practise you will set up and manage new quality controls for items entering premises and during the bulk manufacturing and filling process.
The company can offer flexibility and will consider opportunities for a part-time position for the right candidate with the right experience and expertise. You must have experience of or desire to manage a small team.
