The successful candidate will join one of the worlds largest users of Fragrances and fragrance raw materials, as they undertake the challenge of delivering the next generation of Fabric Care and Home and Hygiene products that will meet the company’s sustainability goals.
This presents the Technical Perfumer with a unique opportunity, as they work to optimise the performance, cost, and compliance of the fragrance portfolio, they will further the integration of sustainability priorities into the art of perfumery. They will drive this agenda by collaborating with upstream Science and Technology teams to deliver on their innovations, and by establishing and managing an operational fragrance compounding lab.
To be successful in this role you must have a wealth of technical knowledge and experience to draw upon, as well as experience of working within complex organisational structures. With your stellar track record as a Technical Perfumer, you will have hands on experience of optimising commercially successful fragrances, using precise measurements to maximise cost performance of fragrance oils, and knowledge of raw materials.
You will be a true problem-solver, able to motivate and lead yourself and your colleagues to achieving breakthrough results. You must have a relevant qualification in a relevant science or engineering field to at least Bachelor’s level.
