The eight-strong range features hair and scalp treatments using ‘powerhouse’ ingredients

Cult beauty brand The Inkey List has applied its ingredient-led ethos to its debut line of hair care products.

The new scalp and hair treatments are said to use ‘powerhouse’ ingredients such as hyaluronic acid, vitamin C, salicylic acid and caffeine to achieve desired hair goals.

New products to help treat scalp problems include the brand’s Amino Acid Anti-Gray Scalp Treatment, Salicylic Acid Exfoliating Scalp Treatment and Caffeine Stimulating Scalp Treatment (from £11.99).

These overnight and pre-shampoo treatments are designed to help stimulate the skin, restore the hair’s pigment and tackle excess oil, which can cause flaky skin.

Meanwhile, new hair treatments comprise serums, hair oil and cream.

These include Vitamin C Brightening Hair Treatment, Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Hair Treatment, Peptide Volumizing Hair Treatment, Shea Oil Nourishing Hair Treatment and Chia Curl Defining Hair Treatment (from £6.99).

“The quality of ingredients is important in every aspect of our life, from the fibres in our fabrics to the flavours in our food,” said The Inkey List’s co-founder Mark Curry.

“Beauty products are no different, be it skin, hair, make-up and beyond.

“So, don’t be surprised that we will start to show the world how skin care-famous ingredients can equally benefit your hair and scalp.

“The Inkey List exists to spread knowledge, not just about the power of ingredients, but how to use them to get the ultimate efficacious results, and always at a price that excludes now one.”

The new range will be available exclusively at Cult Beauty from 4 June.
