As National Fragrance Day fast approaches The Perfume Society prepares to celebrate

The Perfume Society has asked consumers to join in the celebrations for National Fragrance Day 2018 on 21 March by posting a #smellfie.

The #smellfie is the same principle as a selfie but calls for a pose with a fragrance.

The fragrance appreciation society started the craze three years ago and in 2017 celebrities including girl band Little Mix and actor Richard E Grant posted pictures with their favourite fragrance.

Now in its fourth year, the company will choose its top five pictures and every winner will receive a signed copy of The Perfume Bible written by The Perfume Society co-founders Josephine Fairley and Lorna McKay.

Meanwhile, the winning picture taker will also receive an annual subscription (six printed issues) of the company’s Scented Letter Magazine.

Pictures can be entered on Instagram by mentioning @theperfumesociety and #smellfie or on Twitter using #smellfie and tagging @Perfume_Society.
