Make-up manufacturers and brands are constantly on the lookout for forms and dosage that will best meet the expectations of consumers. Beyond the regulatory requirements asking brands to prove their claims via clinical evaluation, it is also essential for them to ensure that their products perfectly meet the expectations of consumers in order to avoid any form of disappointment and win users’ loyalty.

Clinical tests can accurately and scientifically address this issue through objective measurements (measuring devices), semi-objective (scoring by a dermatologist or a trained clinical assistant) or subjective (self-assessments by the volunteer).
