The 13th edition of the event is set to inspire attendees and address the industry’s top trends
With the dawn of the new year, Personal Care and Homecare Ingredients (PCHi) — China’s choice sourcing platform for the global personal care industry — is set to welcome trade professionals from all around the world to its 13th edition.
From 26-28 February 2020, PCHi will return to the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center (SWEECC) to showcase innovative solutions presented by over 600 exhibitors from 30 countries and territories.
As the first event of the calendar year to gather the global personal care industry, PCHi 2020 promises to present an innovation-led array of activities to inspire the industry and set the tone for the rest of the year.
Peter LIU, PCHi Project Manager at RSE, stated, “As with past editions, PCHi 2020 reaffirms our commitment to offer the perfect destination for visitors to uncover the latest industry developments, and an insightful and forward-looking peek into the possibilities for the future of the industry.
"Whether it’s through the New Product Showcase, Sustainability Zone, or the Annual Industry Conference, this annual convention is a strategic platform for learning, networking, and business development — especially for the burgeoning Asia Pacific market.”
With many promising activities lined up for PCHi 2020, here are some notable highlights to look out for:
To address the industry’s learning needs, RSE has curated a comprehensive collection of topics for its highly-acclaimed PCHi Annual Industry Conference — comprising a mix of keynote and break-out sessions.
Themed ‘Trend-driven Innovation for a Smart Future’, the free-to-attend Plenary Talks will feature some of the world’s most authoritative industry experts including influential professors in cosmetics R&D and dermatology sector, established market analysts and consultants, and veteran media personnel from global trade publications.
Delivered in both Chinese and English (simultaneous translation), these sessions will provide the audience with a snapshot of the latest market trends and best technologies.
Complementing the Plenary Talks are Break-out Sessions that allow delegates to delve deeper into individual conference tracks, such as:
A select number of break-out sessions will be presented in dual languages to cater to the growing number of international visitors who are keen on the educational opportunities available at the event.
With environmental issues dominating the international headlines, PCHi responds to the personal care industry’s journey toward achieving sustainability by introducing a new feature area — PCHi Sustainability Zone — which showcases specific products and technologies that demonstrate various exhibitors’ efforts in sustainable development.
A select group of exhibitors will also be sharing more about their products, services, and business practices at the PCHi Sustainability Forum. Attendees interested to gain more insight and inspiration should plan to explore the showcase and keynote presentations in Hall 2.
As testament to its global standing, PCHi remains as the choice platform for exhibitors to introduce their latest offerings to the market.
Participating companies have submitted products that will be launched at PCHi 2020 — including a bio-derived hair fixative polymer, a water-soluble wax for increased moisture retention, and a natural extract which promotes hair growth.
The New Product Showcase also gathers of some of these novel products in one convenient location — enabling visitors to easily discover the latest and best innovations that the industry has to offer.
A perennial crowd favorite, the New Technology Session offers both international and domestic exhibitors a public platform to share ground-breaking technologies behind some of the industry’s latest developments.
