Total Fluides becomes the first french company to earn ISCC Plus certification

Published: 8-Feb-2017

Total Fluides has earned ISCC* Plus certification for the production of renewable hydrocarbon fluids at its plant in Oudalle (Normandy, France).

This certificate applies to the company's BioLife product range, whose sustainability has been audited and certified. The range is used in numerous applications including lubricants, cosmetics and printing inks.

ISCC Plus certification is the assurance of traceability from cultivation of the sustainable biomass through to the transformation process, in compliance with this international sustainability standard applicable to all sectors converting plant-based raw materials (biomaterials).

With this certification, Total Fluides is able to highlight the traceability of its bio-sourced BioLife range as a sustainable, responsible raw material contributing to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions. These products help reduce our customers' Carbon footprint and enhance their Life Cycle Analysis (LCA).

This production site is the first French site to secure ISCC Plus certification.

Total Fluides are a forerunner in the sale of bio-sourced Special Fluids and this independent certification confirms the company's drive to provide customers with innovative bio-sourced solutions in compliance with environmental and social sustainability requirements.
