Fragrance Oils (International) Limited, is a leading international creator and manufacturer of fragrances, flavours and natural extracts and are looking to recruit Trainee Evaluators & Trainee Perfumers to work alongside our Evaluation and Perfumery team.

Our team of Evaluators and Perfumers are the "nose" of the fragrance industry, creating the "smell" that goes into toiletry & personal care and household products.

Abilities and Qualities

  • Good smelling ability
  • Artistic/creative interests and background
  • Interest in and keeping up to date with fashion and fragrance trends
  • GCSE's in English, Maths
  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Attention to detail

The Role

Full training will be given to enable you to identify fragrance raw materials used in the creation of fragrances, how to weigh out fragrance raw materials in a laboratory, and to learn the fragrance industry's regulations.

This knowledge will enable you to create and select fragrances suitable for use in a variety of products such as fine fragrance, personal care and household products.

You will work alongside an Evaluator or Perfumer assisting them to evaluate fragrances in application and answering customer briefs.

You will also be given the opportunity to study for the Industry's ICAT's qualification (Perfumery course).

Monday – Thursday 9.00 a.m. – 5.15 p.m., 9.00 a.m. – 2.45 p.m. Friday – 45 minute lunch break
