Trainee Regulatory Assistant – UK – £DOE

Provide support and assistance to the Regulatory Affairs Manager in providing technical, development, quality and safety information

Fragrance Oils (International) Limited is a privately owned company specialising in the creation of Perfumery Essences and Natural Herbal Extracts for use in the fine fragrance, personal care and household cleaning sectors.

Whilst our headquarters are based in the UK, the Company has a global support network with representations in various regions across the World with sales covering more than 90 countries.

To continue in the Company’s development, we are looking to strengthen our Regulatory Affairs Department.

Monday – Thursday 9.00 a.m. – 5.15 p.m., 9.00 a.m. – 2.45 p.m. Friday – 45 minute lunch break

Full time permanent position


The Role:

To provide support and assistance to the Regulatory Affairs Manager in providing technical, development, quality and safety information for products manufactured and supplied to our customers.


Key Tasks:

  • Inputting data on to the system.
  • Providing Regulatory assistance to key members of staff.
  • Providing Regulatory documentation & assistance to customers.
  • Ensuring raw material data information is current on the system.
  • Safety assessment of raw materials
  • To assist the department in any other duty that is required in line with the job role.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • GCSE grades or equivalent
  • Have good IT skills including use of all Microsoft products
  • Be able to work on own initiative, efficiently planning and organising their own workload
  • Able to work as part of a team
  • Good numerical, written and verbal communication skills
  • Positively committed to provide a quality service
  • Work well under pressure to maintain deadlines
