Three new fragrances launching for summer

Fashion designer Marc Jacobs is adding to his fragrance portfolio with Coty Prestige with the announcement of three new scents for this summer – Oh Lola, Bang Bang and Daisy Hot Pink.

Oh Lola is billed as a flirty facet of the original Lola scent and will launch on 27 July. It has top notes of effervescent raspberry, a heart of peony and magnolia and base notes of vanilla and sandalwood. The campaign for the scent will be fronted by US actress Dakota Fanning and the campaign materials have been shot by long time Jacobs collaborator, Juergen Teller.

Bang Bang is the follow-up to Bang, the first Marc Jacobs scent for men which debuted last July, and is a refreshing citrus twist on the original juice. Containing top notes of lemon, a heart of sandalwood and with cashmere musks at the base, Bang Bang launches on 24 August. It will be housed in the same metallic, crushed-effect bottle as the original but will be coloured metallic blue to differentiate the two.

Lastly, Daisy Hot Pink is a limited edition scent which will also launch on 24 August. Sticking closely to the original Daisy composition, Daisy Hot Pink is billed as a richer interpretation of the original with dominant opening notes of wild strawberry, a heart of gardenia and jasmine and base notes of birch and cedarwood. In keeping with its name, the scent will be bottled in a black flacon with a striking hot pink cap carrying the now iconic daisy petal flowers.
