Unilever reports ‘improved’ third quarter results helped by strong growth momentum in skin care sales and prestige brands

Anglo-Dutch consumer goods conglomerate, Unilever has announced ‘improved’ third quarter results, with an underlying sales growth increasing to 3.8% and turnover reaching €12.5bn.

Within its Beauty & Personal Care sector, turnover reached €5.2bn, while underlying sales growth of 4% was helped by improved price growth.

Skin care continued with strong growth momentum, according to Unilever; it also enjoyed sales success amongst its premium brands, which include Hourglass, Kate Somerville, Living Proof and REN.
