Univar extends Dow agreement in Europe
Distributor to market and sell Dow’s ingredients in France and Benelux
Chemical distributor Univar Inc will add France and Benelux to its long-standing agreement to market and sell Dow’s speciality personal care ingredients. As of today, Univar will be responsible for distributing the full range of Dow’s legacy Rohm and Haas personal care speciality ingredients in France and Benelux. These include Acudyne hair styling polymers, Aculyn rheology modifiers, Opulyn opacifiers, Sun Spheres SPF boosters and Soltex water resistant polymers.
Commenting on the development, Univar’s vp of marketing, EMEA, Nicolas Lehmann said: “The personal care sector is one of Univar’s key global focus industries and this expansion of our partnership with Dow Personal Care is an important development for us. Dow’s innovative speciality personal care ingredients are a great fit within this product range and we are confident that they will be well-received by our customers.”
