Destination spa Urban Retreat is to launch a debut skin care line, which according to Creative & Brand Director, Reena Hammer, fills the need for a core range of products that extend the benefits of the brand\'s treatments at home. The new line features seven skus – a cleanser, exfoliator, mask, facial oil, moisturiser, eye gel and lip treatment – which have been designed with aftercare in mind.
“This is a solid skin care line that takes the effects from the store and continues them at home,” explains Hammer. “I have spent the last year creating what I believe is a staple yet luxurious daily skin care line that can be used by everyone.”
The products contain a blend of bio-active ingredients and feature a signature scent comprised of lavender, rose geranium and ylang ylang essential oils. The line can also be customised according to the user\'s skin type; the elixir facial oil can, for instance, be added to the mask to create a provide a more nourishing treatment for those with dry skin, according to Hammer. All products are also paraben free.
In addition to the product range, a new treatment has been created by Jo Harris, Head of Beauty at Urban Retreat. THE Facial by Urban Retreat will use the new product as well as featuring steam and extraction treatments, and a High Frequency Wand, which helps to close the pore and alleviate redness.
The range will launch in March, available at Urban Retreat at Harrods, Urban Retreat Smithfield and online at The Urban Retreat Beautique. Products are priced between £20 and £60.
