Luxury Irish seaweed brand VOYA has added to its Soil Association and IOFGA approved credentials by becoming Halal certified.
The brand underwent strict testing to ensure that all products and manufacturing processes met approval standards. Ingredients were tested by the Halal Monitoring Committee (HMC) team to ensure that they didn't contain non-halal substances such as alcohol and animal fats. VOYA Founder Mark Walton said: “Getting the HMC halal stamp of approval gives our customers the confidence and peace of mind that all of our products are safe for them to use, without any hidden nasties.”
