This is a great role working with one of the world's largest beauty company's ensuring vendors meet the company's specification, quality protocols and methodology.
With your experience and knowledge of the cosmetic industry and European and US legal requirements you will be focused-on QA compliance, capability building and risk mitigation through adherence to company and regulatory policy.
You will assess the level of quality and good manufacturing practices across all Vendors for compliance with company standards, regulatory requirements and business needs. Leading investigations and the follow up of corrective and preventive actions for any product non-conformance to avoid recurrences.
As you will be the single point of contact for the vendors on quality and compliance troubleshooting your concise and clear communication skills will be vital in keeping the company up to date. It will be up to you to inform management of any critical audit findings or product out of specification in a timely and accurate manner. As the expert you will provide QA training to other VQM members and new starters.
You will be based from the Kent office; however, you will be required to travel occasionally.
