The new Aqualia Volcano Drop features volcanic water, which is sourced from France's Auvergne region

L’Oréal-owned beauty brand Vichy has revealed a new moisturiser as part of its Aqualia Thermal range.

The Aqualia Volcano Drop (£25) is said to be formulated for dull and dehydrated skin, and works by releasing ‘millions of micro-drops as it reaches the skin’s surface’ to deliver hydration for up to 48 hours.

Skin is claimed to appear brighter with a ‘healthy glow’.

Key ingredients include Vichy’s Volcanic Water, hyaluronic acid and natural origin squalene, which have been harnessed to plump skin cells with moisture.

The volcanic water is sourced from France’s Auvergne region and is said to reduce water loss, stimulate epidermis regeneration and reinforce skin’s barrier function.
