The brand\'s new serum fights the effects of “behavioural ageing”

L'Oréal owned skin care brand Vichy Laboratoires has launched a new serum which is claimed to help fight the effects of “behavioural ageing” on the skin. The brand's new Idéalia Life Serum is said to be clinically proven to help improve the skin through a range of lifestyle related factors including lack of sleep, smoking and an unbalanced diet.

The serum combines two key actives, including an acid derived from jasmine named LR2412. Extracted using green chemistry, LR2412 is said to respond to external aggressions by secreting a repairing acid to the skin. It is also claimed to accelerate skin repair and improve its ability to protect itself.

Meanwhile, the formula also uses LHA, a derivative of salicylic acid that helps stimulate cellular renewal in tired skin. It also targets the symptoms of hyperpigmentation. The serum is priced at £29.50.
