The Peaky Blinders and Split star has landed the new role of ambassador for Flowerbomb Midnight
Fashion house Viktor & Rolf has named Peaky Blinders and X-Men actress Anya Taylor-Joy as the face of its new fragrance, Flowerbomb Midnight.
The campaign shot by Dutch fashion photographer duo Inez & Vinoodh focuses on ‘mystery and ambivalence’ and is said to ‘reveal a woman empowering herself’.
Taylor-Joy took to Instagram to share the news to her 612,000 followers, as well as hint at further partnerships with the luxury brand in the future.
“Been holding onto this for a lil while but... am finally so glad to announce that I’m the new face of Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb,” she wrote.
“An epic collaboration with the dreamiest of people... and there’s still more exciting news to come.”
She added: “It was completely humbling and felt like a dream to be approached by Viktor & Rolf.
“I greatly admire Viktor&Rolf for their artistry and feel we share the same aesthetic - and I've always been obsessed with fragrance."
The American born model and actress joins singer Jacob Whitesides as an ambassador for the the brand.
Commenting on his appointment in January, Whitesides said: “I am mind-blown by the designers’ commitment to bringing to life their artistic vision for the new fragrance, which I relate to when I work on my music, or a tour or a video.”
Flowerbomb Midnight was create by IFF perfumers Dominique Ropion, Domitille Michalon-Bertier, Carlos Benaïm and Fanny Bal.
The new scent features accords of blackcurrant, patchouli and white musk.
