The Biotech company, Vytrus Biotech, specialised on plant stem cells, has raised more than €604,000 in its capital round, that has finished on October 29th.

This round has been done through an Equity Crowdfunding with the platform Capital Cell, specialised on biomedicine. The investment project has been online on the platform website until the end of October and has raised total of €604,304, a 110% of the original goal of €550,000.

Vytrus Biotech becomes one of the first Spanish companies to raise more than half a million Euros through an equity Crowdfunding.

This investment will be used to increase the industrial growth of the company and potentiate its research lines, as well as to prepare the company to join an alternative stock market, which will allow us to secure the company and maximise the business growth.

Vytrus also run a Crowdfunding rewards campaign on the platform Indiegogo, during last July. On this campaign the company offered the product Vytrus Hair, made from the company's ingredient, worldwide award winner, Capilia LongaPPF for hair growth.

This was another successful campaign, reaching 145% of the goal in one month. The campaign continued its online sales, through the Indiegogo In Demand system, and will finally finish this week, with more than 170% of the goal reached (more than €30,000).
