X-Rite has announced that it will be participating in two key plastics trade shows in Europe during Autumn 2014

X-Rite, a global leader in colour science and technology, and its subsidiary Pantone, has announced that it will be participating in two key plastics trade shows in Europe during Autumn 2014.

The company will be featuring a variety of instruments, software, services and techniques to deliver accurate, reliable and consistent colour throughout the entire plastics supply chain.

It will be showcasing its solutions at interplas, at NEC Birmingham, UK, 30 September – 2 October 2014; and Fakuma, in Friedrichshafen, Germany, 14-18 October 2014.

The solutions to be showcased at these events include: the Ci4200 compact bench-top spectrophotometer, serving as the foundation for operations seeking to establish a colour control program or to update an existing program; the Ci64 portable sphere spectrophotometer, a performance-driven solution for managing colour at any stage of production for consistent colour monitoring and reduced operating costs; and the Color iMatch solution, that reduces colour formulation costs by using spectral matching, ensuring that consistent spectral values are employed from start to finish in the plastics specification, formulation and manufacturing process.

Tobias Rausch, Market Manager of X-Rite Pantone, said: “We have solutions that will ensure end-to-end colour perfection and the ability to seamlessly communicate colour data throughout the supply chain. Our lighting products, including our Judge II light booth, will also ensure that colour is viewed and measured under optimum lighting conditions. We encourage visitors to stop by our stand to see how these solutions can take the guesswork out of the colour management process, saving precious time and money.”

X-Rite Pantone also operates the online resource World of Plastics, as a convenient way for trade show visitors or those who couldn't attend the shows to access a wide range of useful information, including a series of educational videos and customer case studies.
