Zalando expands beauty reach with Feelunique partnership

The German e-commerce site earlier this year expanded its reach into five more European markets

German e-commerce platform Zalando has teamed up with Feelunique to curate a range of products on its website.

The new partnership will allow Zalando to expand its beauty offering with plans to initially introduce 1,000 products.

“We are delighted to launch a selection of beauty brands and products on Zalando,” said Feelunique’s COO Jim Buckle.

“This is another important building block in the extensive global reach that we offer to beauty brands and another way for beauty consumers to discover our unrivalled range.”

Zalando’s Head of Beauty Pamela Wade-Lehman added that she was “excited” to form a partnership with the online beauty destination.

“This new partnership will add 40 exciting beauty brands - including Nuxe, Omorovicza and Elemis - to our portfolio and pays into our platform strategy.”

She continued: “Through our Partner Program, we directly connect Feelunique to millions of customers, who in turn benefit from increased assortment choice and the ability to shop multi-brand through a single destination with maximum convenience.”

Today, Feelunique stocks more than 500 brands on its site, while Zalando has been gradually increasing its beauty presence after taking it to five new markets earlier this year.

Zalando first broke into beauty in March 2018, across Germany, Austria and Poland.
