A range of face templates of different sizes and shapes have been released alongside nail varnishes and colour pencils in various shades.

Fashion chain Zara has released a collection of beauty products designed for children.

Mini Artists was designed by British-born make-up artist Diane Kendal, with a focus on fostering “creativity, imagination and self-expression” for kids.

“This project is a special one for Diane Kendal, who as a make-up artist combined her knowledge with her own ‘mother experience’, to create a unique offer that enhances childhood favourite moments,” Zara said in a statement.

A water-based Nail Varnish set, which is available in 12 colours and can be removed using just water, is included in the line-up.

The varnishes have been formulated to be used both on the face and the body.

Eight Face Colour Pencils also feature, which offer high pigmentation and are gentle on skin.

A range of face templates of different sizes and shapes has also been released, designed to be reusable and easy to wash.

Rounding off the Mini Artists collection is a mixing palette, with ten slots to mix paint.

“A mini artist needs a mixing palette so that creativity and imagination can fly as far as possible, which is why it could not be missing from this collection,” Zara commented.

“Use it to mix the formulas and the different colours that you can find in the collection and thus create your own colours.”

Mini Artists is available on zara.com with prices starting from £5.99.
